Togo will host Africa-Israel summit

The Israeli Prime Minister, want to diversify his alliances in Africa as he made an official visit last July, which took him to Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya and Rwanda. At the time, the two States had agreed to organize an Africa-Israel summit in 2017 in Lomé.
It is now official and will take place from 16 to 20 October 2017 in Lomé.
Benjamin Netanyahu will attend the proceedings as well as many African heads of state and government.
The summit will be the opportunity for many African countries to strengthen their political and economic ties with the Hebrew state.
