Meeting with Joelle Lezmi, President of WIZO-France

On July 28, was held at the headquarters of WIZO-France, a first meeting between Mrs Joëlle Lezmi, chairwoman of WIZO-France and Nduwa Gershon, President of the FJN.

As part of the activities of the FJN in Africa and on behalf of the President of WIZO-Nigeria Mrs Liz Ben Agha, Gershon Nduwa and Christine Yaltonsky (coordinator of FJN-France) met Joëlle Lezmi, President of WIZO-France. A successful meeting.

It was a session of information and methodological framework to integrate a collaborative approach to the project WIZO-Nigeria.

In effect since April 2012, WIZO-Nigeria joined the World WIZO to sustain mutual cooperation between different structures of international WIZO.

During this exchange, many questions have been explored, especially about the structuring of new emerging federations of WIZO.

The experience and legacy of WIZO are related to the strong commitment and desire to provide the solution.
Mrs. Lezmi was very interested in a partnership.
Discussions focused on the activities of WIZO and prospects contemplated to help African Jewish women.
Mrs. Lezmi gave indicative and explore some tracks to complete the collaboration.
The discussion focused on various issues linked to training and exchanges between federations and Israel.
Ways of cooperation have been identified in several areas including training and cultural exchange . And implementing actions that fight against the inequalities between men and women.

As a reminder, this first meeting came in the wake of an application for appointment as FJN has filed with Mrs. Lezmi
